I've heard coconut oil has more saturated fat. I use very little oil at all but when I do I usually use olive oil or an olive oil blend.

oh I didn't know you could cook in coconut oil, I believe sunflower oil is good but i try and use Olive oil or canola oil which are good as well...hard to know with all the oils around these days.

I normally use olive oil as it is meant to be very good for you, though I never use a lot of it. If I'm cooking something where the flavour of olive oil will not go well then I tend to use vegetable oil. I don't think I've used sunflower oil for years, but not for any particular. I too did not know that you could cook with coconut oil. . . I do not really like coconut, does the oil give a coconut flavour to the food or is it rather tasteless?
