Hi heavens,

I received your e-mail regarding this (check out this discussion), and I'm not sure what to say here, except I'm very sorry about this. I'm assuming you sent it to me, because of the responses here. I clicked on the link, but there was no volume, although the video portion was okay. However, I did do a test here, and couldn't get anything on Youtube to play, as far as the sound was concerned. I had my daughter check the speakers out here, and they don't appear to be working (for anything). My sister's out right now. Anyway, if it's just 'these' speakers, I'm not sure what the reason is, for what I believe you've sent the e-mail to me for. I hope what I'm saying here, makes sense to you. I can say though, that yesterday when I started my 2 discussions, my e-mail notifications didn't seem to be working at all. I just had a very bit of time to spend here right now, so must go. OMG, that is the cutest thing I have ever seen. LOL!

I think young talent has been around for a long time and we've seen it on shows like Star Search and those types for years.

I really do have mixed feelings about it, though. The life of a celebrity, especially a child celeb, is tough, and these kids are being thrust in to this life without having much say in the matter.

That is too sweet Heavens and he truly is an amazing child! i think there are a lot of talented children around - they just grow up and get forgotten about! I think if a child enjoys performing in this way it should be encouraged as long as they are given a lot of grounding and can still enjoy the things any child should - too many child stars have been left messed up and unhappy by their childhoods and the rejection they feel when they have to try and have a normal life when they grow up and no longer have the 'cute factor' and their careers disappear. Knowing how nervous my Niamh was on holiday to sing in the karaoke even though that was what she wanted to do it amazes me that these kids have so much confidence! Hugs xxx
