how much do you spend on phone bills every month?

Do you have a postpaid or prepaid plans? i am on a prepaid plan and only spend an average of 400 pesos or 10 dollar a month. i can use my earnings here in mylot to pay for my phone bills. Although postpaid plans can be great and tempting sometimes because of the freebies they offer, i still opt to use prepaid plans as it is much cheaper and just right for my needs as i don't have too many people to text or call. i once read in an article that according to a research conducted by globe, postpaid users spend so much more than prepaid subscribers. The average monthly bill of those in postpaid is 1200 pesos while only prepaid users only spend from 200-400 pesos. huge difference and huge savings so unless i really need a postpaid phone, i will stick to being a prepaid user. How about you? What are your thoughts on these matter?

Hello,Miss Honey! Since I have to pay bills and the cost of all consumer goods have hiked,I have controlled my phone calls and on an average I am paying around 10 dollars every month.I think it is quite minimum for me.thanx.

Here in Ohio our house phone is tied into a plan with the cable and internet for one low (hahaha) price, long distance is included for free, call anywhere in us, canada or mexico for free. MY cell i guess would be called prepaid, it is Cricket and you get free unlimited calls to anyone in usa, Canada or Mexico, for $45. a month, but you must pay it first of each month. My cell I use mostly for when I am in the truck and my have trouble or out and need to call home for something. What I wonder is I remember when you paid long distance charges for calls and it got to be like 5 cents a minute, why now is all long distance free with your paid plan, I only pay lie $25. for my phone (house) I had way more long distance charges when it was like 5 cents a minute, long distance was so high yet now adays it is free who is picking up the bill now.

i am a postpaid subscriber from globe and i usually spend around 500-700 monthly.
i prefer postpaid over prepaid because it's hassle free. i won't worry about the diminishing balance i have and i can call or txt anytime i want.
