I used to give a towel bath for a baby whenever we go out and come back in warm water. My parents says, baby may get cold because of towel bath when we do at late evening times. But my thinking is to secure from infections and sometimes various people carrying baby when we go out.
My little angel is 5 months old.

I would worry less about infections and the cold than the dry skin that may becaused by constant bathing. If your baby is exposed to germs while out, bathing her when you get home won't really make a difference, germs get into the body faster than that. You'd be better off just being careful that obviously sick people do not handle her. As for her getting cold from bathing, I agree with you. If you are using warm water and drying her off and dressing her appropriately immediately after the bath she won't get dangerously cold. Common sense is needed is all...don't bath her next to an open window with a cold wind blowing through and then leave her naked for an hour afterward LOL! If the home is reasonable warm it shouldn't matter what time of day it is as long as she's not put to bed while still wet -only because it could make her bedding damp and keep her cooler than normal throughout the night.
Young babies do not really need constant bathing though. Their skin is sensitive and can get very dry from constant exposure to soap and water. Also by attempting to wash away all germs you could be doing more harm -exposure to germs can actually boost her immune system (as long as no one is actually coughing in her face or rubbing their eyes and then touching her mouth of course). At her age she does not really need a bath unless she is acctually dirty. It's fine to wipe her hands and face and keep her bottom clean constantly but lots of baths can dry out her skin and make her more prone to infections.
