When or where do you really let out a mouthful? Are you careful not to cuss in public but can turn the air blue when you are not being heard? I am pretty subdued in company but when I am alone in my car I can make a sailor blush I have used a stream of words I did not know I even knew and some new ones of my own.

I generally try not to swear when I'm out in public..I also NEVER swear in front of the elders of the family (like my ex FiL and my current MiL etcetc) adn I watch my mouth too whenever we have little ones over...

I never curse in front of children but as I am now one of the elders in my family I feel I have earned the right to say a few choice words but not the really bad ones.

I believe it really is therapeutic as I can let off steam without getting physical!!

No, I am not someone who uses swearwords. I just do not. It bothers me if my husband does. I do get frustrated, but probably I am much more conventional than average. If I let out a "damn" I have done a lot.

I do it at home, especially in my car LOL, and around close friends. I do slip in front of my kids from time to time, but I have told them those are Mommy words and they are not allowed to use them till after they someday become a Mommy
I don't cuss in public or around strangers. It's just out of respect for them and me as well.
But in my car, yep I find that is the place I do it at the most. Something about sharing the road with nuts and goof balls just brings it out in me, LOL.

"mommy words"...what a good idea! I never thought of that. You are right about the nuts and goofballs.

I don't curse, but I'm not going to deny I've never been tempted! We weren't allowed to curse growing up, and it just stuck I guess. But even if I have never said a curse word, there have been a lot of times it comes in my head. I try to get them out, but especially if I am working with a lot of 'cussers', the more the words pop into my head when something goes wrong!

Hee hee that reminds me when (I think it was jimmy Carter) said that lusting in your heart was still adultery! Maybe he would still consider you still a cusser!!

I hate to admit it but I do cuss. I dont cuss if I am in a meeting, with a buyer or customer, or around my daughter's friends or school. I do cuss when I am around my friends. I used to have a terrible mouth. Now that I have children, I realize that I am setting an example. Its gotten alot better. If I am mad about something, I mean really mad, all bets are off. I should wash my mouth out with soap on a daily basis. lol dl
