I feel good in taking steps to get my house cleaner. I have had 3 garage sales in the last month, been sorting through papers, cleaning out the deep freeze, etc. And today I went through my magazines and said to myself "Why keep them" so I am donating about 25 magazines to the Library. Let someone else enjoy them plus less in my house. Well better get back to cleaning. Have you done anything lately to reduce clutter in your home?

Isn't it amazing how much junk we accumulate throughout the years. I'm always amazed at how much more space we have when I find the time to clean out stuff. And sometimes I'm puzzled why on earth I kept something in the first place, lol.

I know what you mean about being puzzled. One of the few times that hubby and I were cleaning together we ended up laughing & being puzzled as to why we kept this piece of foam that we found in a drawer in the kitchen. It seemed out of place to be in the kitchen which is why we were laughing about it and then we wondered "What the heck"?

When I moved from a 4 bedroom house, to a 2 bedroom apt - yeah, I had to get rid of tons. But...I have not missed any of it and have learned I didn't really need all that stuff anyway and have no ambition to get more! It sure makes you feel good to be rid of so much stuff that you dont' use, don't need and even don't want! I wish I could have had some yard sales and sold my stuff, but I wasn't able to do that, but I could have made probably close to $1,000 all last summer with yard sales, but oh well!
