Well he's still liking it. He is having to get used to doing alot of running and stuff. They have to move the practice dummies and get water coolers often, lifting that he's not used to. He's also taking weight lifting this year so his muscles are really gettting a workout. I told him it's good for him and he'll get used to it soon. The main thing is that he's having fun.

That is so cool that your son is enjoying being the manager of the football team. Well, it does sound like he's getting quite a workout. Plus, weightlifting seems to require a person to be quite energetic. Good for him that he's enjoying doing something new. That is what life is all about. As my husband and I say, "You gotta try stuff."

Yep, it's pretty cool. Especially since he's not really athletic himself. At least he's seeing what it's like somewhat. I'm glad he's doing the weight training. It's really good for everyone.

Maybe he is trying to subtly explore this other type of life: being in to athletics. And he's found a way that is comfortable for him to do this. Who knows, he might really get into it after a few months. But even if he doesn't, it's gonna be a really interesting experience for him.

I could be wrong but I believe this is as close to athletics as he'll get. He's really into computers and graphic design. That's what he wants to go to school for. His spare time is spent learning more about that.

That is great that your son is taking an intrest in something and sticking to it, that shows a great deal of character especially at a younger age. Sports other than watching them is not something I was ever really able to get my boys into, unless you cound chess, billards and other recreational ones like that.

Well, turns out he didn't get to stick with it. We have no health insurance at the present time and they require it when the kids go to away games. He was bummed, but nothing we could do about it.
