Dancing Questions

I have a few questions on ballroom dancing and was wondering if anyone here could answer them for me. When my fiance and I dance we often do the style of ballroom dancing in which a under twirl is executed. However I do not do a full twirl as I keep a firm grasp with his hand, am I supposed to do a loose grip? If so, do I move my hand as I move so that when I make a full circle my hand will grasp back with his? If not, then do I let go completely, twirl with hand in the air, and then grasp his hand? It's not really to much of a necessity answer as at our own wedding this form will most likely not be used, but I would love to know just so that I can do it much like a professional dancer.

This is a very good question baby, and I hope you get a lot of relevant good responses ,because I am not sure if we were doing it right or not,all I know is I have seen men on television spin their female partner like I did you, without letting go of their female partners hand, but it would be very interesting if we could do it more professionally even though we just do it for fun,and you are right since our wedding will be a western wedding,we can expect square dancing, line dancing and stuff like that instead of ballroom dancing,I am sure our friends especially Rickey is looking forward to it lol,I love you.

I think it is better that your partner shouldn't let go of your hand in order to keep you in place.
