Wow! I was amazed to see this biography. Only after the war did they start robbing banks and later trains...I thought they were just bank robbers!

They began as a gang of 14 and found that this was too much...the dividing of the $$$ and the organizational leadership was always an issue and caused many arguments between gang members.
They outlasted most gangs of their time but their fate was the same.
Oh yeah I was surprised to learn that they were fathers and had wives and according to this report they were actually good fathers to their children and their wives and family and did not involve them at all in their "missions".
Very interesting--who knows more of the James gang?
Would love to hear your take on them.
Thanks myLotters!
