Five People you meet in heaven  

I will admit, I'm not a very religious person, but I picked this book up anyway despite the title. I was pleasantly surprised. It was a very eye opening book for me, and to this day it causes me to contemplate things a lot. I also sent this book to my husband while he was deployed and he enjoyed it also, and he doesn't even like to read.

Hi Shelly, this is a meaningful book; and if you like this one, you should also try another book by the same writer 'Tuesdays with Morrie'.

I've read both books, and have found 'Tuesdays with Morrie' a very compelling book.

I have not read this book. I saw it in my father`s casket. My father had placed it there. Shortly after he died (a couple of months) the tv movie with Jon Voigt aired for the first time on television. So I saw the movie, but didn`t read the book. It is comforting to know we will see our family on the other side. In fact, this inspired me to write my own little short story on this subject.

Through dreams I have seen both my father and my brother. They have given me messages as well as shown to me that they are happy where they are. They always having smiling faces. So not only do I believe that I will see them in heaven, I believe they are watching over us now and send messages to us here on earth.

Hi Shelly, I just googled it and didn't realise that it had been a bestseller by Mitch Albom as his very first book, the reviews look great so I will add it to my wish list. Thank you for sharing. Obviously as I had to look it up, I haven't read it. It also says there is a film now too. Ellie :D

No, I have not read that book, notdo I want to. But I do agree that everyone we interact with we have made an impression of some sort. You, my dear, are not insignificant
