Ok today I was just sitting here thinking (a dangerous thing to do) and remembered a family story that I will now share with you.
My great great aunt evy was addicted to soap operas. She was so addicted to the soaps that somewhere along the line fantasy and reality started to blur. She was prepared to go to the funeral of Jeff on As the World Turns. She had her bags packed ticket purchased and was ready to go. through family intervention she was made aware of the problem and was stopped from going off to a fictional funeral of a fictional character. But it sure was funny.
So on a scale of 1 to 10 10 being the worst how addicted are you to the soaps? I am a -8 as I don't even watch them.

Hey sweet, I'm addicted to General Hospital. I have been watching
it since it started pretty much. I watch it everyday. I'm not as
bad as I used to be. If I miss it during the day I will watch it
at night on the Soapnet Channel. I just love it! It takes my mind
off my own life. Yes, it is possible to get so caught up it in
that you can actually think that it is really happening! I can
see how your aunt would get confused! Well, sort of! It really
is a good way to get away for a little while from your real
problems. I have been watching soaps since I was a very little
girl. My grandmother got me started at the age of 2. She used
to watch them everyday and I would watch with her. So she got
me addicted because she was. So it's a genetic thing for me.

see i'm not quite sure how i'm supposed to count that. i know that for most people soaps are those daytime dramas on channels like abc and cbs. but some people also tell me that they include shows like gry's anatomy and ugly betty, which then confuses me because i love those primetime shows, but i don't reallyw atch daytime tv.

OK that is funny. How much did the ticket cost, and how far did she think she had to go? Was she able to get the ticket refunded? Also, how old was she when she did that, and how did the family find out? LOL Maybe soap operas are dangerous for older people to watch. haha

Nope that would make you a ten (10) being the most addicted 1 being the least. I think I confused everyone on that part. Ok 1 is least addicted and 10 is most addicted. My example was that I am a -8 because I don't watch them at all.
