How to be a top discussion ?

Hi winzpc, i have noticed one thing that a discussion are call top discussion, when it has maximum responces in the particular interest. eg: if 10 discussion were created under "mylot" at the end of the day the discussion which has more responce.. will be in the top. If you creat a discusssion and many people are responding then it will be in the list as many people are reading and responding (famous).. most visited.. Now i have created many discussion but only one discussion was in the top list.. felt nice but the discussion was simple.. This means that if you creat a day to day life discussion, more people will answer. thanks and enjoy posting :)

Hi winzpc. I think the key to getting top discussion is to grab the person's attention. It must be a question that they might have a problem about. That they really know how to respond and absolutely know the answer to. If you check the interests page, you will see what interests most people have then start a discussion about it. It could be a creative question or something really obvious. Good luck!

One of my discussions made it to the top discussions this week. I generally do not regulary check the top discussions but just the ones that are on the home page. I dont know what is the criteria for discussions being rated as top discussion because I dont think it would be the number of responses.

It is very possible for all of us to have a Top Discussion of the Day especially when you are posting your discussion and it merely catch the MyLottian's attention of the time being and for sure you could also do it the same thing other MyLottian did in here and Good Luck for more post discussion of yours and I hope to see your Discussion not only in the Top Discussion of the Day but in MyLot Digest........

i think the secret of it to write discussion when mylot is crowded this the most important thing i think other than that normally your discussion topic have to be original and interesting i have many popular discussions but all i can say is its sometimes all about luck , anyway happy mylottings

well this discussion is not going to be a top discussion for sure... posts that are very new and trivial always got many responses to unknown people. they also share their experiences and contradict your topic. that's how you are going to make a top discussion.

Good question winzpc. I have a discussion with over 40 responses in a day and I saw it in the first couple of pages in today's top earlier today, but it doesn't seem to be there now! Goodness knows how it all works. I hope u work it out.

you know i have the same problem. its a real mystery to me! ive started one a few weeks ago about this and no one seems to know.
