i have a friend who is already in her late thirties and is still very much single..while she projects the image of loving it, she often complains to me that she has gotten tired of hoping for the right guy to come..i asked her this question and her answer made me somehow feel for her weariness in the years to come..the question was, WHAT IS YOUR CHIEF DISAPPOINTMENT IN BEING SINGLE??? young or old, if you have any, let me know....

I am 26 and single and I really dont mind that. . I think you go out and look for a boyfriend anyway it does not always work out that way. I do not wnat to be someone who goe sinto a relationship just for the sake of being in a relationship. Right now I do not particularly wnat or need a boyfried. I suppose it would be nice to have someone to cuddle etc but I do not really have any serious problems with not having that person in my life.

when i was still single, i had the same mentality as yours..i care less about those men not approaching me..i was happy living on my own..but when i found someone great to spend the rest of my life with, i happily ended singlehood..but unluckily, my friend whom i mentioned in the blog is still single and weary about the future..how i wish that she'd get the same optimism as you and live single life blissfully...

Hi mumaiybanez. I never found my soul mate LOL. But I have a daughter and along the years some men want to marry me but I did not love them so why marry? I know that is hard to be a single mother but I could do it. I was afraid with another thing: I had a girl so how I could put a man in my home with her? we have seen many terribles things (till even by fathers)so I preferred to stay alone with her. Now she is grown and can protect herself but now I think is too late. Who knows? if I find my soul mate it will be nice to live with someone that share our thinkings and tastes and can build something together and have fun together. I like to be single because better alone that in bad company LOL. But be alone is hard sometimes and we all need someone. But I don't care much about it.
Have a nice day.

I am separated from my husband and he moved out in March.
What I don't like about being single is there is no one here to talk to.
What I do like about being single is the fact that I don't have to answer to someone else. I could spend the money the way I want to and come and go as I please.
