Do you think it's better to post a new discussion or build up an older one?

Do you think you earn more points with myLot to post a new discussion or to get more responses for an existing discussion. It can take a lot more time replying to everyone who responds to your discussions than to just post a new one. If you reply to everyone your discussion comes up under "recent" all the time so probably has more chance of getting more responses. What do you think will get you more points? Of course, ethically it is better to respond to everyone, but how much time should you spend on mylot?

Hi there! For me, responding to new discussions and responding back to the responses you've received are just the same. The act is both responding so they both help you earn. With regards to the time one must or should spend mylotting is a personal choice. Anyways we are not obliged here to participate more than you can exert but if one is here for the earnings then I guess he/she should spend more time mylotting. Ciao!

Thanks iskayz for your advice, you are right it is a personal choice - but it is good to know the best way to split the time you are spending.

Hi friend, i think it just depends on the topic you started. If it interests many people's attention,so it will be put in the hot topic area.so you will get some more points with it.If no one is interested to respond it.i think it must be no point increasing. So i think whatever the new discussion or old ones,as long as it is attractive to other mylotters.it would be a hot one.lol good luck

thanks successlog for this advice, so the trick is to work out what is attractive to the other mylotters!

I think that if you can make a thoughtful new topic then it can be better because then you can respond to each person that replies, everyone has a different view or opinions and so as long as your topic isn't identical to another recent one then its a good thing.....i myself respond more than I start because I can't always think of a good discussion to start
