i've seen him again and again in big movies, but i have no idea who he is.

this actor was in: ULTRAVIOLET-the guy who keeps resurrecting violet armageddon-one of bruce willis' guys the dark knight-the shotgun-weilding bank manager blades of glory-jon heder's adoptive father pearl harbor-josh hartnett's dad black hawk down and i'm sure a whole lot of other big movies that i'm not aware of he's also on tv: invasion prison break-the cop chasing wentworth miller. who is this guy and does he have a movie in which he actually stars in a leading role???

His name is William Fichtner. He was in one of my favourite movies - Strange Days. Unfortunately I don't know of anything that he was a lead in, but you can look him up on IMDB and see if you recognise anything else he's been in.
