Why does girls mostly ask first to break up with their guys?

Ya in my case it was me who asked for break up. Gals will have so many practical problems. If they both are of same age then guys will feel that its not the right time to marry. But gals can't wait long. In such cases, if there are no problem in their love, then ok. Otherwise gals will want to break up. In my case, my society started speaking ill of our family and I asked my lover to rush up. But he was not doing that and I didn't have any other go. So I decided to break up.
