i just finished this paper about Ted Kaczynski, also known as the famous Unabomber, who sent bombs through the mail or left it at public places (often at universities [UN] and airlines [A], hence the name. The hunt for him took 17 years and it was only when David, his brother, recognized Ted's manifesto that were published in newspapers, did the FBI solved the case and led to the arrest of Ted.
i was putting myself in the position of David while i was writing the paper, and i can imagine how hard it must be for him to turn his brother in, to reveal his suspicions to the FBI. i try to put myself in his position, and much as i think about it, i cannot for the life of me picture myself turning one of my sisters in to the police. yes, even if one of my sisters was a serial killer.
i know there a lot of things in the world that i don't understand, but what i do know is that my love for my sisters cannot be put in the backseat for the sake of the safety of others. this is selfish and crazy, i know, but this is just me.
how about you? i'd like to know what you would do if you had a brother or a sister for a serial killer :)

very slick question. if i had a sibling like this, i will turn him/ her in too, for one reason ,he is a big threat to many people, for another, he's already a bomb to my parents and me. don't count on such people turn normal. unless you don't mind pay the price of your own life.
