How to convince someone on your family bout Dialysis?

I have an uncle who was diagnosed "CKD" or Chronic Kidney Disease (or Disorder) last week. His attending nephrologist told us that his only option now was kidney dialysis coz kidney transplant is not a good idea due to his age factor (he is 73 year old). We all know that dialysis forever and could cost him so much money coz the doctor requires him to have dialysis 8 time a month. With my uncle's current condition the docotr also told us that his kidney isn't working that much, only 20% of his kidney are working by now.. All those signs and symptoms of having a kidney problem arises like arthritis, anemic, doesn't want to eat, dizziness, pale skin, sleeplessness, fatigue, etc have manifested on his body.. this is so crucial coz he don't want to undergo dialysis due to financial problems and afraid on the said procedure.. currently he want to try herbal medicines but the doctors recommend a dialysis. We'd already told him everything about dialysis, how is it work, what are the preparations and everything and the pros and cons about it. In your case, do you have any ways to convince your family to undergo on something that cure prolonged his\her life?
