Should animals be trained in a circus?

People like to see the animal programmes of animals, But I take it as a tragedy. Animals are brothers of us who live on the earth, they have rights to live a free life. But they have to live in cages and performance before whips and sticks against their nature.
Do you think animals should be trained in a circus?

I think the animals should be let free in their habitat. Animals also need freedom like humans need.

i do agree with you...but people like entertainment and they think that looking an animal being tortured in a circus is an entertainment.

Yeah I think the whole circus thing is pretty bad. I don't think they need to take animals from their natural settings and turn them into side shows. It isn't like a dog which loves to play out catching a frisbee, they use wild animals like lions and elephants that don't get adequate space and don't belong in that setting. I don't mind if animals are rescued or even endangered and are raised in a zoo where they have proper space and diet but even then sometimes I don't always agree with it. I have seen many animals in zoos that don't look happy at all, they just sit.
