I got mental blocked for more than 15 minutes....

I was on my way to the office where I have my part-time job today. It is usual road I pass by each and everyday. I took a public vehicle and so calmly seated waiting for the right spot to drop off. To my surprise, I just suddenly realized that I was already two blocks away from my work place! The weirdest thing there is, I didn't notice I already passed it while looking over the window, eagerly waiting for the right time! I got off the public vehicle and walked back. at that time, I still don't have any idea where I'm heading for. after 15 minutes i found the right way to my office and the surrounding seemed so normal. I felt like I had an amnesia. Whew! Do you have any idea why this happened? Or did you ever have similar experience like mine? It just happened few hours ago and until now, I still don't get it.
