planning vacation!!

Hey magna86 Obviously before going to vacation planning is essential. Keeping in view the schedule of family members timing of vacation is planning. First I discuss with all family members irrespective of child and adult.We sit together and decide where to go, when to go, duration of the vacation , amount to be spent etc. then a common consciousness is arrived. pkc3000

Its not actually possible for my brother and sister to change their schedule. My sister is in Japan and will come home once in an year. By July-August. Only in those two months we can plan our programs. My brother is a software engineer and working in Banglore. It will take more than 12 hours to come to our place. So he has to be informed before taking any decisions. He can't get leave easily also. So that will be a big trouble for us. That two months durations will be shortened to one week because of my brother. Hehe.

When my kids were little, in elementary school and younger, I would plan our vacations according to the deals I could find for the places we wanted to go. Once they hit middle and high school, I plan our vacations around the school holidays. It is usually hard for my husband to get off work when school is out, but he puts in for it months before so that is when we go. If someone can't go for some reason, they usually stay with grandma.

Usually vacation is scheduled around the kids' school vacations. But sometimes we get visitors from out of town that change that a bit.

I love vacation, I have planning it every week, some time I go to the beach, see the nature, make me feel happy, some time I go to the cinema. There is no special planning for it, Just enjoy it...

We always time it during summer so that the kids are on vacation from school and they could always join us. Summer is the best season for vacation because I believe this the season for outings and vacation. Although it is a peak season, we still do enjoy the excitement and fun of this time of the year.
