I heard that saying and got me thinking,,,really???? Why not??? Why can´t we have what we want in life without any consequences???? I´m married,have a great husband, a great son, and generally am happy with my life, so why can´t I expect to keep on like this? I think if you act correctly in life you´ll get what you deserve,period.
so, do we have to expect to pay the consequences just because you have a good life? If my marriage is successful does that mean necesarily that my profession isn´t? How does it work???

Hi titagdl, welcome to mylot and have a good stay here. I think that it is bacause all things have a price. And we must pay. If you get some good things you will get some bad things too. It not means that what you have already will be lost. But I have noticed that all the old sayings are right because if not they were gone. But they stay in our days so they are right. But I think that you must enjoy what you have and don't worry about it. What will be, will be.
