Have you ever heard of the Extraterrestrial Highway?

We heard of it for the first time last week on our drive from Las Vegas to Salt Lake. We drove up through Nevada instead of going through Utah and found some really nice scenery. We took our GPS with us (bought it especially for the trip) and when we got to this one road it said to turn onto the Extraterrestial Highway. I was totally amazed that such a thing existed! When we got home, I did a bit of research and found that we were actully only on a very small part of it. If we had had time it would have been nice to "explore" it a little more! We stopped in the middle of the road (literally) to take this picture of a billboard for Alien Jerky! It didn't matter that we sat in the middle of the road for a few minutes because there were no cars for DAYS!

I have heard of that, but I have never been to it, but I think that I might go and visit it one of these days.

When I read up on it I found out that it's got a lot of neat things. Many people have created "monuments" and put them on the roadside! There's also a lot of shops like the one on the billboard. Maybe one day I'll go back and really check it out!

Do you know what Highway number it is? Because I might be going to visit my cousin soon in Montana, and that is on my way up there.
