High street shoes VS Designer shoes

To shoes addict out there.. Would you rather go for cheap gorgeous high street shoes or quality pricy and also gorgeous designer shoes?? Or you are an absolute shoe lover that you dont mind having both kinds? High street shoes does not really last long but are quite affordable. Where as, designer shoes are to die for because of its brand and durability. So which kind do you think is best selling?
