Do you put things in "safe places" then can't find them again?

This happens with me sometimes when my nephew or niece picks my things. I always put everything on their specific places so that I don't get worried later finding them. I get a little angry if my things are moved away from where I have put them. Like I always put my glasses in its protective case and on my side table.

it does happen to me a lot of times.i keep the keys of my cupboard in a safe place and try as i might,i can not remember were the safe place is.

That happens to me alot latly. I would pick something up, and put it up for safe keeping, and wouldn't you know; i can't find it. It's gotten to the point, that when my kids learn that i was the last person with something they say ;"forget about it it's lost, mommy had it" lol Maybe i should just leave it lying around, maybe that way it could be found.lol

I have done this more times than I care to remember. I know that one day I will be cleaning out a cabinet, drawers or closets and come across something like that.I know I will kick myself for not remembering because it will have been so logical and obvious for me to have put it there.

most of the times i have experienced this. i always keep all things very carefully but if i m not using anything for a long time and i have kept in any safer place i forget that the place where i had kept that and then keep on searching . sometime i also even get scared about any important documents which i keep and i forget and after a long gap i need it and again the same problem. its really scary sometimes when its concerned with some important documents or precious jewellry or something like that.
