Australia has the most beautiful city in the world. Sydney with the white sails of the opera house and the gray harbor bridge is my favorite city. North and south of the harbor it has some really picturesque beaches. It has the Great Barrier Reef a stunning coral reef and it has a dusty red outback. I liked Kangaroo Island for its scenic beaches and wildlife viewing opportunities.
New Zealand is an incredibly beautiful country with beaches, forests, mountains and glaciers. It has many long distance walks with superb scenery and I walked two of those when I was there. The Pacific Islands are tropical paradises with perfect palm fringed beaches. I love Samoa most of all. It has white sandy beaches, green hills, coo waterfalls, exciting blow holes and thick rain forest.

Dear jens,
Every places is unique and has its splendid beauty.
So, it is very difficult to just select one...hmmm
However, I would like to share this place that is so unique and
memorable to me till now....it is situated in China.
Wuzhen is an old water village and known as the Venice of China!
Wuzhen Town, in Tongxiang City, Zhejiang Province, has a history
of more than 1,000 years. Over 80% of the ancient residential houses,
workshops, post office & stores still standing on the banks of the
rivers have remained unchanged, lending an atmosphere of antiquity:)
Tradition is still very much alive in Wuzhen. In addition to
flower-drum opera, shadow-puppet shows, and temple fairs, Wuzhen
also attracts visitors with its time-honoured art of making indigo-dyed
printed calico. In ancient times, indigo-dyed printed calico was used
for curtains, scarves, and tablecloths in every household in the
countryside of Zhejiang Province. Today, it is still common to see
old women in indigo-blue gowns leisurely operating spinning wheels
or looms at weaving workshops in the old lanes of Wuzhen. You can sit
on small boat (like gondola) by the river and go under the beautiful
bridges...beautiful scenery!
Wuzhen has been included by UNESCO in the reserve list of world cultural
heritages. A place that I highly recommended, it bring you back in time
Cheers and do keep in touch!
