generally, by the time a beta is made public, it usually won't cause major problems to your computer. the worst you should expect probably is only maybe an unexpected shutdown (of Firefox, not the computer) or maybe some pages won't display properly. By all means, give it a try.

even i use firefox 3 and have no problems so far excepaat a bit of crashing,its completely safe . you can go ahead and download it or wait for the version to become stable.

Do you mean 3.1 or 3.0.1. I don't see 3.1 available at their site, just 3.0.1. Regardless, I don't believe they send out update alerts for their betas, so whatever it is it should be fine. On a side note, I am using 3.0.1 and it works fine. Mostly....just some odditieds with flash, but that's only because it is closed....

hi vijbas.. i will suggest you one thing.. never trust the beta versions.. though it is very interactive and attractive, it will let us down some day.. so i will always suggest you to keep the standard versions which will never let us down.. happy mylotting.. thanks for sharing
