Success for me is being in control of your life and being centred and happy. Money of course does come into it but not necessarily great riches; just enough money to be able to freely make decisions in life that do not have to be influenced by thoughts of whether I can afford it or not! Love and respect in my life are also important and I consider having both of these to be part of success as well. I would like to be acknowledged as a good person and have people feeling better for having known me as well! If I can achieve all of these things then I will have considered my life as successful!

You're definitely right that having money and riches isn't the only measure of success. More importantly, if you feel you have achieved what you know you were born to do or accomplish in this world (your purpose in life), then you can already be called a successful person. Being happy and contented with your life is also success enough for me.

the measure of a person's success is how he lives his life..materials things should never be a measure of success..
i consider myself successful because i can make my husband laugh and cry..as simple as that. as long as i can be myself and happy of who i am then im successful. making the people around me happy and feel loved also contributes to my success.
