One of the newer things I am writing.

It is a book based on the computer game Half Life. Mainly Half Life 1, but parts of it correspond to HL2. It is not set in the story line of HL, it is set in a town. It starts off with a Portal Storm causing aliens from Xen to teleport in. The main character (it is set in first person) has to rescue his girlfriend. Sounds kind of tame but I think it is quite good. I am also writing another story in this same sort of thing. I called it (for now) Blue Shift, as that is an expansion for HL1. It has the similar sort of storyline but everything that happens in it is completely different. Also, in the first one I am writing, at the end the main character dies. They are all getting on a helicopter out of there (characters from both stories) and then zombies begin pouring out of the surrounding buildings. The main character allows the helicopter to escape by taking out the zombies with a hand grenade. Thoughts?
