i got my first job as a babysitter of 2 wonderful kids. first, i thought it would be hard for me to get along with the kids that grew in different culture but i was wrong. It felt so great how the kids loves me, giving me hugs and kisses when i arrive and before going back home. I am overwhelmed too for how much the parents appreciate the things i do for the kids.

My first job was the job of a customer care executive in a domestic call centre. I worked in a call centre of Airtel for around 2 months during my college days. It was an open-for-all walk-in interview.Though being an engineer, they dont prefer engineering guys taking that job, but somehow, i convinced them to give me that job. Actually, I always wanted to experience how it feels like to be working in a call centre. I used to consider that job very easy going. But believe me, its not. When you have to sit listening to customers for continuous 8-9 hrs with the headphones on ur ears continuously and targets set for the day to receive over 100 calls, its never gonna be easy at any time. Moreover, complaints and abuses from customers would rather spoil ur day. I joined that job during the last year of my college as i had some free time, so thought of experiencing the same worth an extra hand of pocket money into my pocket. May be it was a domestic call centre, thats y i had a tough schedule. bu anyway, I learnt one thing, everything that looks easy is not really easy in actual. I tried for a different process and not voice process in another call centre, and got successful too, but did not join it since i had my brother's wedding coming up and then had to focus on my engineering too. Currently, I am working as a Software Engineer(it was a campus placement)and i am quite pleased with my job as for now, but that experience will remain unforgettable for me!!

My very first job where I got a fixed salary was a game reviewer and I create walkthroughs for video games. It was back in 2000 when an editor contacted me and hired me to create walkthroughs. I was doing it for fun the first time at gamefaqs.com. They saw my profile and my work and got interested in me being a part of their staff. They are based in the US so I get my money through wire transfer. I was paid per game and my games and systems were free. After that, the next job I had was the official one. I was with Convergys. One of the top contact centers here in Manila. It was hard especially since it was the first time I applied for a real job. It was real fun.
