It is a beautiful song and full of meaning. I agree with you about love being the meaning of Christmas and it should be practiced 365 days a year and not just at Christmas time. My favourite Christmas song is away in a manger. This is because it is actually about the true meaning of christmas, as opposed to many of the other christmas songs that are out there these days, and it also creates a really beautiful image of the place where Jesus was born. When I go to church on christmas eve, my favourite part of the service is when we sing that particular hymn.

I have lots favorite Christmas song. One is "give love on Christmas day", I used to sing that one when I was 7 during our Homeowners Christmas party and I couldn't forget that one 'cause I won the prize for singing that song, since then, it became my favorite. But as days passed by, I realized that it shouldn't just on Christmas that we give love but it's on our day to day life. Always have that Spirit of Christmas in you heart.

Christmas has been in my vocabulary since I studied English, but my enthusiasm about the festival was not ignited until the birth of my grandson, who is 6 years old now. We have celebrated all the Christmas Days ever since. I started to consult websites to learn about the history and cultural background of the festival. We bought piles of decorations to be hung all over the home. With festival songs, we take pictures with red hats on. We go round the big malls and downtown to enjoy the festival atmosphere. The one that attracted us most was the tall mobile robot tree at the corner of the Raffles City, and the rows of deers draging the wagon, which shift from red to white in turns. Along with the gifts he receives is the abundant love, which we believe will help promote his healthy growth.
