Do you think food is getting really expensive?

If you are a keen observer you will notice that food nowadays is getting more expensive and you will find out too that the value of money you used to buy goods is being devaluated or not enough to cover what you really need to buy. Let me know if you notice that. Hmmm.

Friend, prices of essential food articles including vegetables and fruits have already touched the roof, severly affecting all families especially the poorer ones.It is because the crop production is not coping with the trend of explosive rise in population coupled with diversion of massive crop land to other non-agricultural purposes. I believe, all of us have henceforth learn to adjust and cope with the continuing inflationary pressure. The cost of all essential services, utilities and assets are on the rising trend, forcing many families to financial ruin and debt.It is really very hard time to make both ends meet. We need to make some collaborative and collective effort to raise our earning to cope with this critical time. Thanks.

God bless market forces! lol. There are so many factors that contribute to the prices of food and commodities in the market. Oil especially. When the cost of transportation rises then of course us consumers get hit as well for example. The furstrating part is that wages never seem to increase in line with inflation and it just becomes harder and harder for many lower income families to make ends meet.

It is especially if you live here in the Philippines...almost all basic commodities soared their prices especially food..rice to be exact...with this continuing and the people cannot afford it...many Filipinos will die out of hunger.
