What does it taste like?

I was watching City of Angels and Nicolas Cage's character asks the girl what a pear taste like. He asks her to describe it to him. I was wondering how would you describe the taste to someone who has never tasted a pear, apple, or grapes? Pick one and let me know how you would describe it.
