I don't always whisper but I do talk low so not everyone hears me. I don't like to disturb people in the Drs office. There maybe someone who doesn't feel well and doesn't want alot of loud talking. I've been in some offices where people are talking really loud on the cell phone. I think that is rude. We don't all want to know what is being discussed by everyone. I think they should talk outside if they need to talk on the phone or talk loud.

hi abbeyb, what's wrong with the doctor hearing your words? i think we normally whisper in the doctor's waiting room because it supposed to be a quite place. there are many people sick there (of course you won't see the doctor unless you need their treatment), which maybe disturbed of noisy environment. like in the library, you don't want to talk loudly as it will disturb others visitors.

It depends on my conversation if i dont mind people or the doctors would hear me. If I talk abt something that isnt nice for people to hear then i will whisper. you are probably nervous to see the doctors lol.
