Pacquiao VS de la Hoya: David and Goliath

Philippines

The deal is finally set, this coming December(don't know the exact date yet) will be the MegaFight between Oscar and Manny. This probably be the biggest fight for Manny in his boxing career and boy.,, promises a bright, rich future for him. While for Oscar, this fight is said to be the conclusion of his career as he plans to retire right after the match. Will he ever have a victorious ending? or a knockout exit? We'll see. Physically, Oscar is far way bigger than Manny. He's also a much experienced fighter. but coach Freddie Roach assures the Filipino people and that Manny's speed and younger body is all they've got. How about you? what's your thought on this?

I've just read on our newspaper today that Manny Pacquiao plans to retire by Year 2009 and joins a political party, again. I hope that is not true since I've not read the details.

i can't imagine Manny thinking of money to join politics. but the power that they get can be one reason.

I think Manny has been "counted out" many times i his early career and he has always proved those guys wrong. Manny may or may not win but I know he will come out fighting and it's going to be a great match. It is right that you can help other people without going into politics if he wants to help others he can do it wihout politics.

Well you've asked a fellow Pinoy here. So there is a great probability of me siding with Pacman but honestly, I really don't know if he can beat the big guy.

am not a boxing fan...but, am pretty sure i'll actually wait for this event. the world stops when the match begins. hopefully, even if this will conclude Dela Hoya's career, it'll be worth it...a match with the Pacman will definitely be something. I hope Manny wins..(so that he won't reconsider the 2010 elections) he'll make the country proud. =) put your bets on..
