SADURAGIRI,A beautiful mountain in southern part of tamilnadu

hi all, there is a very beautiful mountain in a place called Watrap(Krishnan Kovil,tamilnadu) which is about 75 kilometres from Madurai(Tamilnadu).there is a Shiva temple up in the mountain.its a 13-14 kilometres treking from Thaneepaarai(bottom of the mountain).The path leading to top is very very challenging. One has to really be fit to climb that mountain.the time we reach the top, all our energy would drain. but since the path is completely covered with dense trees,its an awasome place to trek.its such a dense forest and you could breath completely pure air which is rather very difficult to get in the urban areas. its also belived that Siddars live there even now and they perform the rituals during fullmoonday(Pournami) and Nomoonday(Ammavaasai).actually these(Siddars) are worshipped next to God.only people who are blessed can see them with naked eye. If you happen to visit madurai(tamilnadu), do visit this place.you can really enjoy the nature out there. Note:people are allowed to Trek only during Ammavaasai and Pournami since its a forest.during other days its very risky becoz there would be some wild animals along the path.
