Hi fellow mylotters. I personally don't check my partners' wallet.I believe it's something personal.Nobody has the right to look at my wallet without permission.Eventhough there's nothing to hide I don't want someone or somebody to sneak out and have a peek on my wallet. If I see my boyfriends wallet I get it and hide it inside our closet...that's where we hide our wallets...now you know.lol.If I have to keep his wallet I don't open it.Even if he's going to ask me to get money from his wallet...I hand it to him and I will ask him to get it himself. How about you do open your partners wallet and check if he is hiding something...well you know...secretly.And what have you found out after peeking?

The people that opens there partners wallet are thus who don't have trust to each other. I don't look at my partners wallet and other personal things he have. When I want something he says just get it or do whatever you want to do because he says its our property not only his, but I still respect his privacy. People who cant trust each other are just waste of time because for sure that relationship will go nowhere.

Yup that's right but sometimes if you feel the urge of peeking...your instinct is just telling you something.check my response before you and aside from trusting your partner...it's the respect to privacy for our partner.

nope. It never cross my mind to peek into my partner's wallet. Sometimes he asked me to get money from his wallet and that's all I did.

But you know what from my experience...since I don't check my partners wallet. When my ex-husband and I are still together I had this feeling that I need to check his wallet.Since I don't check it...I was surprised that time bec. I checked some of the hidden pockets and guess what I saw there was a picture of him and his girlfriend which by the way his 2nd wife now.And the ending of the story our marriage got annulled.interesting right? We have this what we call "womens' intuition" and when I feel something wrong...my instincts tells me that I have to check it.And so I checked....end of the story.nyahahaha.

My husband and I have never ever checked eachother's wallets, and if I need something out of my purse, and it's near him, he will bring it to me so i can find it myself, because he will not look in it. He didn't look in his exes purse either. We are the same way with mail. If mail comes to one of us, that person opens it. I won't open his mail, he won't open mine either.

No, I would never peek or check my partners' wallet/purse. I think he has his own privacy and wallet is something very personal and I respect him so I never peek or check or not even thinking of it.

I don't do that also even if I know where he keep his wallet. Our wallets are safely hidin in our cabinet and we don't bring it to the office. So even if I am alone I don't bother open it.And I know that I will just be seeing my pictures and letters in his wallet.

Ithink it's a good attitude. It shows you have respect on his privacy. I also do not check my hubby's wallet. In our 23 years of marriage I never ever did try opening his wallet to check it or whatever. I think that is going beyond my boundary. Although we are married and considered one flesh, I believe looking at his wallet is an invasion of his privacy. In fact, I would see his wallet oftentimes, resting on our bed headboard but never did I ever opened it. I don't really care what is in his wallet and how much money he is keeping there. I have always trusted my husband and so far I've never caught him lying or hiding anything from me. I also do that same kind of restrain to his cellphone. I believe he has the right of privacy in this gadget as well.

Yup yup yup...but regarding the cellphone thing I just created a discussion about that. and I actually have our cellphones beside me and he would just ask me who texted him.But the wallet thingy I don't want to check what's inside the wallet but basically I know what's in there bec. we actually bought the same brand of wallet for him/her wallet so I know what are the things in his wallet...it has "ALL" my pictures...myahahaha.

No, the only time I go into his wallet is if I need to get something out of it and he always knows. My partner just seems to collect mini statements from using ATMs in his wallet!

I don't open my boyfriends wallet either only if he ask me to but most of the time I hand him his wallet and I will let him get whatever he is asking me to get.
