Employment for old and experience people

I am PSU bank employee working in a PSU banks computer department. I have done excellentely well. But as u know PSU banks will recognise people of their work, they should have people at the top level. Hence I was denied promotion and even transfer. I am regularly working for more than 12 hours for almost days and even more for some days. Also all sunday I used to work. Though it is much benefical to me, people around me are saying if you are putting this work in private firms u will be recongnised well and rewarded well. I crossed the age of 47 years. Can anyone say whether people like me who are ready to work ( Presently in MM-II) anytime can get good jobs in which of the companies

First of let me tell you always grass on the other side looks greener. I know the salary in private sectors are better, but there is no guarantee that here you will always be recognised. I am quite young in that regard and working for 4 years in private MNC. But its not the case always. still if you want, you can send me the CV of yours in mail. hi dear lak2jai. i am sorry to say dear that the employees of the psus are the worst sufferers at the hands of their own managements and bosses!!. i will advice you to set up some thing of your own at this age otherwise each passing day will further depreciate your value. take some days off and imagine that you do not have a job!!and meet people in good corporates and attend a few interviews or set up your own show if you can .
