Most beautiful place you ever visited?

When i visited switzerland many years ago i thought it was the most picturesque place i'd ever seen, the snow covered mountains, the lakes were lit up at night, it was beautiful if rather expensive to purchase anything. Where have you visited that you thought was beautiful and have you ever revisited?

I moved here to Italy many years ago from UK and I still every day think it is the most beautiful place I have visited. I have seen many famous placs here such as Venice and Florence and they are really breathtaking. The whole journey with the mountains and hillsides and the towns I went through is so beautiful. The west coast with sea on one side and mountains behind it are awesome too.
If I travel elsewhere I am not sure whether I would see anything to beat the Italian countryside as a whole.
