Even if you've never seen it, you are probably aware of the CBS reality show Survivor--sixteen castaways sent to live on an island to duke it out and vote one another off for a million dollar prize. What is most striking about this concept is not the competition, but the absolute gratitude these people hold for things we take for granted everyday. The dirty, unpurified water they cling to for life is the same stuff we flush, wash, and cook with everyday without batting an eye. They covet and fight for food that we could easily pop in our microwaves or sit down at a restaurant to order. The very fact that you can read this at your computer signifies that you are one of the most wealthy, educated persons on the planet. Take a moment to think about the luxurious and privileged life you live. Give thanks for a whole body, everyday freedoms, your family, and all of the choices you have. Cherish what you have while you have it because you never know when your life could change.

I have seen a passage that tell I am so rich in the world.I enjoy life and grateful what life gives me.The water, air, soil and I konw I have a happy family.I think that's enough.I think everybody should be grateful regardless whether you are rich or poor.

I did not have a good or easy childhood. I am very greatful of the things I have and my family with the love we have for one another. We are so close and I never had that before. If I had not anything that I have materially speakig then the family I have is a wonderful improvement for me.
Everytime I think about what I have and how much my home needs repairs or this or that, then I think how greatful I am to even have a home. I've been homeless before and just having a home now is wonderful.

I am very grateful for what I have, it is usually when I lose something or see what other people from poorer countries don'r have that I realize how lucky I am, I have worked hard for what I have but i am still very lucky.
