I Can’t Accompany My Boyfriend

My boyfriend’s aunt called him this morning to inform that her husband was rushed to the hospital (Makati Med). His condition is not critical but he’s been in and out of the hospital since last year I guess, because of diabetes. Anyway, my boyfriend is close to his aunt and the husband so he will pay them a visit at the hospital tonight and well, he is asking me to go with him, but I don’t think I can because I am really not feeling well. I am felling a little guilty that I will not be able to visit his relatives and am quite worried that they will think I am a snob. but since I am really not feeling well, I hope they will understand my situation, I will just visit his relatives next time. My boyfriend understands my situation though and I thank him for that.

the more important thing is that your bf understands you. and you are not feeling well. if you don't take your needed rest, you'll get more sick and it will be longer before you can pay visit to your bf, that can make things worse.

I think what you did is just ok. If you have been sick and visited them in the hospital you might not be allowed in the first place. Also if you look sick when you see them it might not give a good impression. You know that it's hard to look good when you're not feeling well right? There are other times to meet them and of course those would be better.
