Did you experience having a stalker? If so, how did you get rid of him/her?

Stalkers are definitely creepy and dangerous. I wonder why people do this, are they so sick or obsessed that they would stalk other people?

My brother was involved with a woman being stalked by her ex. She was a tiny thing and he was a bear of a man. My bro is more like Michael J. Fox than any other actor - too bad he didn't have those "looks" too. She knew her ex was coming in the house while she was gone, she'd see his car down the street from her house. For some reason, shortly before my brother broke up with her, this guy came around, maybe he got meds or one of his kids talked to him or something, but she wasn't feeling as threatened as she had been before. Within a year of my brother's breaking up with her, she was married to someone else. She was nice enough, but her youngest child, a girl, needed some serious help.

My husbands ex was a stalker. She was pretty crazy. We had to change everything and move. eventually when she did not get anywhere she went her own way. If all else fails get a restraining order.
