Watched it on DVD over weekend. Quiet perfect drama.

Two great actors (Al Pacino & Russell Crowe) acted quiet brilliantly. It is based on true story about a whistleblower who knows too much about inside of tobacco industry. Al Pacino acted as CBS 60 Minutes producer who will try to air whistleblower story on the TV at any cost. Whole movie is about these two people struggle to air the truth.

Again it is not an action movie but drama is so intense.
A good & worth watching movie.

Yeah, it's about a whistleblower who, instead of being praised for his honesty, has made his life like hell.

The movie is good but it somehow disheartens me because it simply shows that regardless how 'good' you are to the publics eye because you made known to all about the dangers of the things your company produced. As long as you don't have the money, you'll end up destroying your life~ And for whom? The health of the public? Did they ever help him out?

It's really sad because it's true. How many times must a doctor or a community fight against tobacco companies? Isn't the cancers enough to tell us to stop? Then how come they're still around if they don't really give any long-term benefits to the society (aside from the jobs)(of course don't forget that they may have given us jobs, but they've also helped take away a lot of lives).

The acting is quite good though. I salute those who were strong enough to make the story and for the actors' expertise in portraying the role.
