A Really Funny, Short Story About My Dog

If you are in the need for a really good, quick laugh...look no further! I have a really funny, true story for you about my golden retriever, Goldie.
My brother in law was throwing her tennis ball for Goldie one night; sometimes he would throw it far for her, sometimes he would throw it really high. Well, he took the ball from her and threw it really high up. Goldie ran a little bit across the yard, stopped, turned, looked up...and waited...and waited...an waited...what exactly was she waiting for? Well...she was waiting VERY patiently for the moon to fall...she thought the moon was her ball in the sky...and she stood and stared at it for a long time, until someone finally showed her where the actual ball had fallen :)

lol! Well I can understand puppies doing this :P But my dog was an adult...you'd think she'd be smarter by now...she's seen the moon before! lol :P

LOL! Ordinarily I would say that's probably true but...Goldie isn't the smartest dog :P lol. I would say that our other dog, Maggie, would do that...but Goldie...I don't think she's smart enough for trickery! lol. But it probably took a while for someone to show her because everyone was busy watching and laughing :P

ok wait a minute I figured it out your dog wasn't thinking the moon was her ball she was waitting to see how long it would take to get you all to get her ball for her how long did it take lol
i was laughing till my sides hurt... and my friends at the office laughed as well when i shared with them this story...

lol! i'm actually surprised my dog didn't get scared of it! :P But I guess she just really wanted her ball back! lol

I am really laughing out loud when I read your story. The innocence of the dog makes it funnier. What is the dog thinking that it has to be the moon, I love Goldie. Good thing someone show her the ball, because I think she will stay there until morning and will got more worried when the moon is finally hiding, because it is sunrise already. Thanks for sharing this.

lol yeah she probably would watch the moon all night, and start to worry when it starts sinking very very slowly! :P Might drive her even more crazy! lol. Goldie is defenialtly a character in our house! :)

LOL! Yes they defeniatly can be...sometimes I wonder what they're thinking... especailly in this situation lol. I just wonder if she thought the moon was her ball, or if it just got stuck up there on it lol.
