stinging nettles

on the way home from the shops earlier, I fell over in the road into a puddle, and broke my umbrella, my handbag broke and i got stung by a stinging nettle,i havent been stung since i was about 7 I forgot how much that hurts! have any of you been stung recently, by a plant or otherwise? what was it, did it hurt you?

We don't have stinging nettles here. Last time I was stung, it was a wasp and it hurt pretty badly but not for a really long time.
