Do you welcome new members?

Do make the effort to make new users of mylot feel welcome? I've decided to keep a check on posts made by new members and try to make them feel at home because i remember how lost and a little phased i felt when i joined mylot and thankfully i've been made to feel very welcome :) so do you welcome new members or maybe you think mylot admin should play a part in making new members feel welcome? Whats your view?

If a new member answers one of my discussions then I will generally welcome them, yes. I don't actively seek them out though. There is a new member discussions section too but I rarely look in there either. There are a LOT of new people joining so it would be really difficult to keep tabs on all but a few of them!

+++ x's + for this topic and I think It's awesome you take the time to welcome and incourage new members, I also welcome new members and answers their questions when I see them. I'm certianly greatful for the members that helped me out when I first joined mylot..I won't lie I was pretty lost here for a little bit(0_0) ,again can't say thanks enough to the members that help others out:) ,You deserve more than a 10 star Beaver72 and I wish you nothing but the best here..,happy mylotting:)

Wow bloodshyne i'm truly flattered by your comment thank you :) and hi annie i'd feeling much better today thank you :) wel i've just been through some posts of the new members and most are asking how to make money online, i replied to one but i really cant face typing the same thing 6 or 7 times as they were all very similar posts. I'l check again later and see who's in need of the mylot red carpet lol

I don't tend to welcome them, but I should. We all know how it is to be new to a site, and not sure what to do. And you are right, we all should make an effort to welcome and help out the new people.
