Do your kids believe in Santa?

I have 4 babies and up until recently, my youngest, the 5 year old (then 4) told me there was no such thing as Santa Claus! My mouth hit the floor. I was so upset that I went looking for the perpetrator who leaked that hidden information. I was on a warpath to silence the cruel killers of innocense. She then told me that "duh, mom, think about it. I mean, you only see him once a year and there are 5 in the same store. I am not as dumb as you think!" My heart was ripped from me that my baby just told me that there is no Santa Claus. She also informed me, along with the other kids, that there is no scientific way that there could be a 200lb. bunny hiding eggs with all the pretty colors. DARN THOSE SCHOOLS!!! ARRRRGGGHHHH!!
You would think I believed in all of those, and they just told me the truth. I loved watching them get excited about the holidays and what special things come about. I didn't have a happy childhood so those were things that were cool to me.
I did just learn though that there really is a tooth fairy, because she is small and can access the underneath of the pillow. She is 102 and is going to live forever. I think that is just because the little one is about to lose her first baby tooth. Hope this was entertaining!

Well I guess every family is different. I like having my kids believe in santa, of course mine are pretty young that´s why. And it is a bit difficul to have to explain why santa is at the mall and sometimes on the street when we keep telling them he lives in the north pole. But still it is a nice tradition and even more so, to keep the kids innocence about Christmas. I remember when my brothers told me, I felt disappointed and upset so I would like to prolong that innocent belief in my kids as much as I can, even though at school it sometimes is hard.
