I sign up and I got an error that time too.

It looks like they are doing maintenance at the time I signed up last time and I had to go back and enter my info again and I forgot.

Today I tried and got error 500.. I guess both times I was unlucky.

If you keep having problems with trying to log on e mail them if you can. If you can not find an e mail let me know and I will find one for you to send one to. They are still working out some of the bugs in the new system. There are others on the message boards that have said they have had problems getting tested and getting through during this time of maintenance. When I was invited back I had to send an email to them because it would not let me log in. I really love it. I have made roughly ten dollars a day since I started. I think with experience I will get faster and then I will make more money. If I worked it eight to ten hours a day like a real job I might make more as well. With the changes the test may be different then when I took it but at least when you know about the test maybe it will help you be a little more prepared. I'm a ChaCha Guide, too, and I somewhat frequently get 500 errors from the server. It's usually something that can be fixed, but sometimes you'll have to contact ChaCha about it directly. There's a publicly accessible form that can be used to send feedback about problems to ChaCha.

Also, travibabiesgirl--it does get easier to increase your rate with experience. My query times have been halved in the month or so since I started Guiding, and if you make Top Guide you'll get paid the higher payment rate, too. That makes things go a lot faster. I wouldn't recommend relying on it as a primary source of income, but it's definitely a good supplement, and a quicker earner than anything else I've found so far.

I am not involved in this discussion as I am not in the US, but thought I should let you know that Firefox is available for pretty much all Windows systems (and Linux too). You should download it if this is what is holding you back, I am sure you will find a version to suit your OS. Go to this site and check it out, did you know it is just a browser that you would use instead of Internet Explorer? Here is the site address:

Believe it or not, there arent any! Are you surprised? I tried this ages ago, you know I even thought about starting my own on line survey site based on the one being plugged above. Its a great idea, just needs a bit of funding and someone sort of techy to get it up and running.

I don't know of any that would work outside of the states. I wish I could help you with that. I hope that you find something or something comes available for you.

I have chosen the pay me now. I don't like the fact that it cost me two dollars each time I want to get paid. But I am not yet comfortable enough to give them my banking information. I also think it would be really nice though to have the money there when I need it instead of having to wait for a pay check. So I guess in a way the 2.00 pay me now fee isn't all that bad considering the benefit. I just filled out the paper work so you are saying that it might be a month or more before I am able to get and use my card? I have only been doing this for about a week or so, all of the top guide requirements are new to me. They are factoring in the system failures into the top guide requirements and adjusting accordingly. I have a lot to learn and a long way to go before I am making good money and top guide at least I think so anyway. The contests are what is getting me down. I work all night trying to make the 120 quota with more dead time than action. Last night I missed it by 4 questions. It really made me kind of mad last night to know I stayed up all night and still missed out on the bonus. Even with all the issues and bugs that they are trying to get fixed I do love it and believe it is a great way to make extra cash. I hope that they get the issues fixed soon and then it will be an even better place to earn from.

It took a month because First IB wanted additional documents from me to verify my identity. There were problems with them receiving them, so it probably took a week longer than it should have. Calling them seems to get them to hurry up, though. It's supposed to take about ten days to receive the debit card, but I have frequent issues with my mail carrier. I'll be surprised if it even shows up.

To be fair, I've only been waiting a couple of days for my PMN button from ChaCha. First IB says it can take up to two or three weeks for them to add it, I think. I'm hoping it doesn't, because I'll be better off setting up my account for Pay Me Monthly at that point.

Making Top Guide is a piece of cake if you're active and pay attention to the questions and answers. I've been able to make the 200 question quota in a day or two. Lately, I've been letting it go because the Universe and its lack of an away button annoy the living heck out of me. I don't want to have to abort to get out of answering a question, and I seem to constantly get back to back queries.

I've never bothered with the contests. The way I see it, answering questions is guaranteed, but their contests usually are just drawings. So if I meet my quotas on days when I'm actively Guiding, I'm happy. And if I happen to get lucky and qualify for a contest, and win it, too... that's just extra icing on the cake.

After reading your post I sure am glad I applied for my card now. I was going to wait till I needed the money. I guess I am used to the real world where you go in get it done in two minutes. I appreciate the information on the top guide. I wish that they had it where you could see your quality and accuracy. Those are the areas I would really like to see how I am doing in. I think I am doing good but they might not. Good view point on the contest. Thank you again. Going back to make some money.

You were right about making top guide. I did it and now am making double. I am so happy. I just hope I can do it every week. It sure helped to bring me a more positive attitude and I am taking your advice about not worring about the contest. I am a very happy worker now. I got my card and got my first pay. You are right it takes a little time to get it to come together. It took about 3 weeks after I signed up for the account for me to get my card and get paid for the first time. I finally made my first purchase with my card on Oct. the 3rd. I had no problems at all with using it. I am so happy that I found this and can make so much extra money. I am having so much fun with this. I took your advice as well about the bonuses and actually earned one this week.
