Is there a good reason for my best friend dying at 21 years old?

I had a best friend I grew up with from pre-k, we were tight for 15 years, something stupid I did in Junior High, kid nonsense, messed things up, and we weren't the same after that, it was on/off. Eventually we made up or whatever, but it wasn't really the same, it's like he was so busy he never called me or anything, he changed a lot too, i guess sometimes when you stop talking to someone and you become very busy, so much time passes by that you forget why you stopped talking to that person if you already made up with them, you know? Anyways, his mom died in Fall 2007. He died from some sort of accidental death at work involving a Fax/Copier/Scanner machine at his office job in July 2008, he died FOUR DAYS before his 22ND BIRTHDAY! And you know what the messed up part about it is? I didn't find this out until 3 days ago, wanna know how? I was at work, my girl and our daughter were on their way home and my girl was thinking of what to buy for dinner when all of a sudden (for no reason) my best friend's name just popped in her head. She asked me how to spell his last name again so she can look him up, then on the ancestry website she found a DEATH DATE for this year next to his name. I thought to myself that's B.S. thats probably a different guy, then I got home and checked out the birthdate, everything matched up, even his father everything. I cried so much you wouldn't believe it. This buddy of mine had a relationship with me that was reminiscent of "The Two Coreys" (Corey Haim and Feldman) except we didn't do any drugs. I have so many memories that could fill a book about him. The day he died, I was in orientation class for my current job, I never thought on that day that he would be dying at work. It's so strange because he died 9 months after his mom died and 4 days before his 22nd birthday. I find that quite odd. If it were a suicide, the timeframe would make perfect sense but he didn't kill himself. It's almost as if that date was chosen for him or by someone/thing. Call me crazy but then again look at the freaken dates, it's weird. Who is in their early 20s and dies a year after their mother dies?!? Not to mention, a few days before your b-day!? WTF??? What the heck was this reason? Do you think his mom needed him in heaven so God approved the request? If that's the case, then that's EXTREMELY selfish, at least wait until the guy's 90, then you can kill him with as many fax machines and copiers as you want! I was on the verge of reconnecting with this guy for Christ's sake. Why did he die at 21, 4 days before his b-day, and one year after his mom died? Why?? Is there any specific reason?
