This is England ...

Decent watch ... Very similar to other movies like Requiem for a Dream and Green Street Hooligans ...

Focuses on a primary societal issue and presents the dark side of it with redemption at the end ... What really sets this movie aside is the lead protagonist who is a kid and has a wonderful characterization attached to him ... Also, its based on a true story (of the director himself)
